By accessing or using RecertifyHR.com ("the Service"), operated by Gillon Holdings LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

Service Description

RecertifyHR is an online learning platform that provides HR recertification courses pre-approved for professional development credits with SHRM and HRCI.

Subscription and Pricing

Our annual membership provides unlimited access to all courses for $250/year. Key terms:

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date
  • You can cancel anytime through your account settings
  • No prorated refunds for mid-cycle cancellations
  • Prices are subject to change with notice

Recertification Credits

Our courses are pre-approved for SHRM and HRCI recertification credits. However:

  • Credit acceptance is ultimately at the discretion of SHRM and HRCI
  • You are responsible for tracking and reporting your credits
  • We provide documentation to support your recertification submissions
  • Credit requirements and acceptance may change based on certifying body policies

Account Responsibilities

When using our Service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your password
  • Not share your account credentials with others
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Misrepresent your identity or qualifications
  • Claim credit for courses you did not complete
  • Share or distribute course content without authorization
  • Attempt unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use automated systems to access the Service
  • Commercially exploit our content without permission
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

Intellectual Property

All content on RecertifyHR, including courses, materials, logos, and software, is owned by Gillon Holdings LLC or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Refund Policy

All sales are final for digital course access. However:

  • Refund requests may be considered within 7 days of purchase
  • No refunds if any course content has been accessed
  • Refunds are processed at our sole discretion

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The Service is free of viruses or harmful components
  • Recertification credits will be accepted by any certifying body

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RECERTIFYHR AND GILLON HOLDINGS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits or revenue
  • Loss of data
  • Loss of certification or recertification
  • Business interruption

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RecertifyHR, Gillon Holdings LLC, and our officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except for claims that may be brought in small claims court.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
